Adding Leads to Texto

There are three ways to add leads:

​A. Uploading Leads During Onboarding

When new users sign up, onboarding includes a step where you can upload a CSV of leads. ​

CSV Requirements (Simple & Strict)

Your CSV must contain:

• first_name

• last_name

• phone (with country code)

Nothing else is required. ​

Formatting Rules

• Save as CSV

• No emojis or special characters in query

• One lead per row

• Headers must be present

When uploaded:

✔ Texto scans your columns

✔ Validates phone numbers

✔ Begins messaging instantly

✔ Displays conversations in your Inbox

B. Upload Leads After Onboarding

Once onboarding is complete, all future CSV uploads happen on the Leads page.

How to Upload:

1. Go to Leads in the sidebar

2. Click Add Leads

3. Select Upload CSV

4. Upload your file

5. Texto will auto-detect your columns

6. Confirm the import ​

Texto will immediately:

• Start conversations

• Display them in your Inbox

• Show the lead on the Dashboard ​

C. Adding Leads Manually

Useful for test conversations.

1. Go to Leads

2. Click Add Lead

3. Enter first name, last name, phone, and query

4. Submit

The AI will message the lead instantly.
