A lead in Texto only contains the following information:
first_name
Customer’s first name (used in the AI messages)
last_name
Customer’s surname
phone
The customer’s phone number (full number incl. country code)
These are the only fields Texto requires and understands.
Texto automatically assigns metadata to every lead:

Current stage of the lead
Texto assigns statuses automatically based on behavior:
Meaning
New
Lead has just been added
Active
AI is currently engaging with the lead
Completed
Conversation has naturally ended or reached a finish point
Not Interested
Lead opted out (STOP, REMOVE, etc.)
Unreachable
Invalid or undeliverable phone number
Duplicate
Same phone number detected again
You can also manually update statuses as needed.
