Texto does not use “Contacts” the way CRMs do. Instead, Texto is built around two core objects:
A lead is any customer added into Texto.
A lead always requires:
First name
Last name
Phone number
Leads can enter Texto through:
Zapier
CSV upload
Leads are the people your AI Agent will message.
A conversation is the message thread between your Texto AI Agent and a lead.
A conversation begins when:
A lead is added through Zapier
A CSV lead is uploaded
And Texto will immediately:
Read the lead’s query
Send the first message
Display the entire thread in your Inbox
Every lead has exactly one conversation thread.
